Year of the "Blue Dog" the Dem's majority in the house is built on them Smiley
That's a myth. Only 4 conservatives were elected dems this year. The rest were liberal.

Correct conan!  Most of the gains were in the Northeast and Middle West, not the South.
The conservatives came from Indiana and North Carolina.

What about Carney, Altmire, McCaskill, Webb and Casey?
Moderate, Moderate, Liberal, Liberal, Moderate.

So are you saying the only new conservative Dems elected were Donnelly, Ellsworth, Hill, and Shuler? I don't know that much about three of them, but Hill seemed to have had a moderate record in Congress.

Anyway, I voted New Hampshire.
