May I ask the nominee:
Why do you want the job?
What do you hope to achieve during your tenure?

May I ask the nominee:
Why do you want the job?
What do you hope to achieve during your tenure?

Why I want the job: SImple answer. I think i'd enjoy it. I've participated in Atlasia, on and off, for over two years now. I've done many things in that time, but I have never served in the executive, and in my opinion it is the area that offers the most interest.

What I hope to achieve: Stability. I'd love to say that in a few months I could change the world, but I know that's unreasonable. What I hope for is that nothing goes bad, and that the continuation of current policy helps implement a more friendly world for Atlasia. I won't be doing nothing however-I strongly wish to tighten Atlasia's diplomatic ties with the Middle East and focus aid programmes on true solutions rather than vague programmes. I will be suggesting some very detailed aid-related policy.

Of course, there is also the military aspect of the role, and whilst I see no immediate reason for new military conflict, the ongoing operations of our troops will be of permanent high importance in my considerations.

Will I uphold the constitution against all enemies: I fully accept any responsibility I may receive for the protection of the Republic from all foreign enemies, first off. That said, I can';t say that I will uphold it against all domestic enemies. I will work for the best result for Atlasia, and in these turbulent times the best result for Atlasia may not be one that inolves the current constitution.

That said, I fully intend to operate within all laws of the nation at all times, as a servant of the people, if confirmed.

I urge the Senate to remember this act - https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=49348.msg1053198#msg1053198  The individual responsible then received a warning from the moderator.

Such immature people should not be elevated to office. I urge the Senate to reject.

Hey, even if it is true, I am not the up for appointment. Run away now, little boy.

Whilst I respect Don, he isn't a moderator and I broke no rules with that post, which was made as a bit of a joke. Bit mean? Sure. But I think reasonable, and also not relating to this posting.

Gustaf, who is a moderator, did put out a warning. I also ask the Senate to note that the nominee has no problem with randomly acting a "bit mean" to citizens he would like to be serving.

These petty disagreements and insults are growing tiresome.

Then ask the person in question, who has no problem admitting that he started it, to stop with his inappropriate actions.

Seeing as the small and insignificant points brought up by Keystone Phil have nothing to do with External Affairs, I have no worries in putting Hughento into the SOEA's office.

My main concern with the nominee is his activity levels.

I'm highly active on the forum in general. In Atlasia, I often read but rarely participate; I think Atlasia is highly troubled and certainly less fun then it once was. That said, I hope that as an official I will have some influence in shaping the future of the nation.
