See, but that's not what he said.  He said "I'd like to get them out of Iraq, Mr. President."  He didn't respond regarding his son, he phrased it as a general policy point.  If he had said something like "I like to see him out of Iraq," that would have been more appropriate.

Or "He'd like to be out of Iraq".

The general level of mastery of the English language exhibited by our New Jersey posters (Rin-Chan and fezzy aside) is simply appalling.

Try something before you hit the post button. Read you post out loud and analyze how it sounds to you. Unless you're braindead, you'll realize it just doesn't sound correct.
