Tancredo insults Jeb Bush, the city of Miami

I don't think he should apologize, since the city does look like a foreign country.  However, is it proper for an elected politician from one state insult the city of another state?  No.  But there is no cause for him to apoligze.

Uh, yeah, because calling it a different country and a third-world country are the same thing.

Tancredo represents the least-impoverished congressional district in the country.  He knows his audience.

What did I say imply I'm not an independent?  Being a non-Tancredo fan, I think my comment was quite objective.

But he still didn't say that Miami is a "foreign country," unless you consider all foreign countries to be third world ones.

Why do liberals accuse the man of being a racist because he wants to enforce our countries laws and wants to end low standards of living.  Do conservatives call liberals racists for wanting Mexicans to be able to jump the border while others wait for visas?  That's sounds like racist to me

That may be bad policy, but how is it racist?  Not that it isn't a huge strawman of the prevailing Democratic policy.
