And Bush Sr.'s daddy sold military supplies to Nazi Germany 10 months after Pearl Harbor. Do you have a point?

Yes, excepting Stevenson, every Democrat until Gore took money from his Bush Sr.'s  boss.  Smiley

When Harold Ford Jr. leaves office, and Edmund goes to jail, that number will drop to two.

County Commissioner Joe Ford (the good one)
State Senator Ophelia Ford (the dumb one)

If ford didnt have such a bad family he would have won.

True.  And if Ford didn't have his family, he would have never made it to Congress.

Tennessee isn't like Alabama. Most tennesse republicans are somewhat moderate.

Tennessee Republicans, for the most part, are different from our deep southern counterparts.  We have a tradition dating back to our defense of the Union when it was attacked by Democratic slave-owning traitors who wished to disrupt the American dream.

We send our best to DC.  Ideology doesn't come into play so much as a sense of responsibility and competence.  We send men like Lamar Alexander, Howard Baker, and Fred Thompson - men of strong character and stronger will.  Like the TV commercial said Smiley... Bob Corker will follow in their footsteps.

Bob Riley was such a segregationist!

I dont care how many Fords hold office in TN or how many are corrupt. Harold Ford, Jr. is not corrupt and he is a great man and he will be back. So Don you can post as much crap you want about his family, Harold Ford Jr. is a man of integrity.

I actually like Bob Riley! He is a great guy! Him and Sonny Perdue are fantasic governors despite my disagreements with their politics!! I might have just voted for Bob Riley, and I usually hate Southern Republicans.

Surprised at no mention of Baxley and her health here.
