I just thought of another band I shouldn't like but that I do: Milli Vanilli. Another one youngsters probably don't remember the controversy about. Smiley

I was young, but we all know the story...

Okay,  this is REALLY gonna be embarrasing.  So much so, that I must first tell you I love Clapton and The Who and Pink Floyd and Bruce Cockburn...I love Robert Johnson and Billie Holiday and Bach and Mozart...

But...

I also really enjoyed...  <gag> <sputter>

"Key Largo" by Bertie Higgins.

::: hanging head :::

And I tell everyone how much I hate rap, yet I know every word of "Baby's Got Back."

Okay -- I will crawl back under my rock.

I would never feel guilty about anything.. embarrassed possibly.  Would the fact that I like everything by Electric 6 count?  Btw, has anyone else enjoyed Quimby?

Over My Head - The Fray

In general I don't like any modern song I hear on a pop/mix station, but I like this song.

Lip-syncing, which is kind of silly considering most pop starts use it.

Yeah, and I agree. It was quite the big deal at the time; their Grammy for Best New Artist was revoked.

Well it was more than that they were lip-syncing, it was that the voices on the record wasn't even them.

how about "Alone" or "All I Want to Do Is Make Love to You" by Heart?

They're not nearly as "cool" as, say, Barracuda..

Heart is a truly excellent band and you should feel no shame for liking their songs.

I love that song, stupid as that may sound.  I also like "I Am I Said."

There are certain records/CDs that you have to hide when people come over....Tongue

"Breathless"
"Dancing Queen"
"Heaven Is a Place on Earth" - Belinda Carlisle = HOT
"Graduation Song (Friends Forever)" - DON'T LISTEN TO IT OFTEN...TOO SAD

Prolly more.

It's funny, alot of songs from 2001, I didn't care for at the time, but I enjoy now because they remind of that pre-9/11 mood.

John Lennon - "Imagine".

It's a nice song, and it was written and sung by someone who was brought up less than a mile from where I live. The words are a load of b*llocks though.

Well, he's certainly the best looking famous guy my age, but I do like his songs. Coincidentally, he's a much bigger star down here than in the US.
