Independent candidate results for the U.S. Senate, Oklahoma

2002 (Inhofe/Walters): James Germalic gets 6%
1996 (Inhofe/Boren): Independents get 3%
1994 (Inhofe/McCurdy): Danny Corn gets 4%

2004 (Coburn/Carson): The crahaaazy Sheila Bilyeu got 6%
1998 (Nickles/Carroll): The Independents got 2%
1992 (Nickles/Lewis): The Independents got 3%

The catch is that Oklahoma still has absurd petition requirements for third parties, and slightly more generous requirements for Independents.
