Jefferson in a squeaker

Is what I want to say but it should be about Carter 53-47

Yeah, we all know that if you got to vote, you'd vote for Jefferson.

My point exactly, hell if I were a Dem I'd be thanking Mark Foley for distracting people from the issues forever

Oh, yeah, because the issues really favor the Republicans. Stuff like raising the minimum wage is really a loser for the Democrats, with only 86% supporting.

Jefferson pulled ahead big in Orleans Parish.

Let's hope that's his base (or Republican areas) coming in.

Looks like the DownWithTheLeft's are coming out in force.

Found a faster site.

The bad news is that 100,000 dollar bills is leading 54-46 with 204/492 precincts.

You've gotta be kidding me that these people are stupid enough to reelect someone who was taped accepting a $100,000 bribe.

NOLA is dead to me if they re-elect this bastard. There's not much to like about Louisiana.

What the Democrats need to do is write off whacko areas of the south like Louisiana and concentrate on reducing the Republicans to just the Dixiecrat core in the south, and beating their asses elsewhere. The south is a bunch of hopelessly corrupt assholes who need to be made irrelevant. In 2008, the Democrats need to target every last Republican still remaining in the north-east and most of the rest of the non southern Republicans.

Looks like (100,000) dollar bill won.

BTW, NOLA isn't going to be getting much aid with such a compromised
representative. But like the rest of the south, they value corruption over competance. We need to write off the south, and make them irrelevant.

It's really, really depressing that Jefferson is winning so big, 58-42.

It helps ones sanity if one pretends the south is a different country.
