I hope we end the embargo on Cuba next.

Not going to happen until both Castros die.  Then we can put a USA tool in power, modernize it and turn it into a tourist hotbed.  Raul has expressed interest in opening up ties with the west but there's no way a president of either party (especially a Republican) does that as it would piss the Cubans in Florida off.

Sadly, I totally agree (with both quotes).

Isolating certain countries has been detrimental to the countries involved; Cuba, like China and Vietnam, gave up 'communism' a long time ago.
