Our 44th president John Forbes Kerry celebrated his 63rd birthday today in his home state of Mass.  President Kerry won the closest re-election in US history by beating George W. Bush in Ohio by 30,000 votes.  Mr. Kerry has now completed 2 years in office and will begin to face a republician congress after the holidays.  During his Christmas vacation, Mr. Kerry will set his agenda for the 2nd half of his term and how to deal with the republican congress on issues such and immigration, health and etc.  Recent polls suggest that Senator McCain of Az will win the nomination and will go head to head with Mr. Kerry in 2008.  Sources say that our president will confirm that he will pursue a 2nd term in spring of 2007.  Thus possibly preventing a Hillary Clinton presidency.

Ever since taking office as the 44th president, President Kerry has withdraw all but 20,000 US troops out of Iraq and the military is currently rotating the ones in Iraq.  He is currently enjoying a 58% approval rating.  Iraq has sustained a stable government and the country is slowing growing into a democratic country.  As for Bin laden, he is still at large in Afganistan.  President Kerry stated that the war against terrorism is a war utizling intelligence.  President Kerry has done exactly what he has promised and the american people agreed with him.  President Kerry wished the american people a happy Christmas and a happy New Years before he left for his vacation.

Wouldn't that be some kind of comeback, if Kerry somehow rebounded and was elected president in 2008, becoming the 44th president in real life?

Kerry is so awesome that he won re-election without even being elected in the first place!

I think you missed your turn into the What if forum.  This thread is meant for discussion of people who are actual contenders in 2008.  Not wannabes like Kerry.  Although I would have loved to see someone beat Bush in 2004, Kerry was about the only person who couldn't do it.  It was like choosing to vote for either dumb or stupid.

Oh man, I needed that though.  That was the second best part of my day yesterday, the best of course was seeing Tiki Barber yesterday morning.
