I probably shouldn't have made it a poll, but does anyone have the data for the cost of each?

Also-what would/did each bill do exactly?

Hillary care's purpose was to give those who can't afford it access to health and medical insurance, and I believe those with limited coverage as well.  The majority of the $$ in the program would have gone to paying for the coverage, paying for operations, medical procedures, etc.

The Medicare bill that passed was more expensive and the primary focus of the $$ was oward the industry side of things,  $$ was focused on the corporations as well as the pharamacutical industry.

Hillary care was a decent plan, but possibly a little too early and was too complex.  the Medicare bill's focus was on the wrong people.  Instead of it being focused on getting more people covered and helping to reduce the cost, the $$ simply went to industry

I suspect Hillarycare was more expensive, though I don't know for sure.

Hillarycare covered far more than just Prescription drugs and covered everyone in the country, not just those people on Medicare.  Because of the vastly larger scope, I think the more reasonable guess would be that Hillarycare would have cost more.

It was a larger scope, but gave FAR FAR less to the corporate interests
