You realize that you're going to get a load of joke votes for Naso, right?

That's democracy for you.

Like him or not, his actions have always brought a certain amount of humour to the game (intentional or otherwise). In that sense, he may be considered as valid a choice as anyone else.

I thought I declined the nomination in the other thread. Oh well. If I get any votes, I wasn't one of them.

It would probably be fairer to open up a vote on 'new' office holders in 2006; ie people who were first elected this year and have progressed.

Which would rule me out Grin since I was first elected last December Wink though I didn't take my seat as such until March

I think the choice is rather clear, even to the nominees.

to Governor of the SE Region

in just two months. Pretty impressive.

I once went from former Senator, to Lt. Gov, to President in less than two months.

With a clear majority of the votes (19 of 35), the Atlasian of the Year 2006 is Ebowed.

Personally, I think this is the most fitting choice given his very close involvement with many of the major events of the year. The longest Presidency in Atlasian history will be remembered as much more than a simple statistic. And now at year's end, a return to the Senate where his year began. Who know's what 2007 holds?

Anyway, congratulations to Ebowed, this is well deserved. Smiley

Congrats to him, by the way! Cheesy
