Your score pegs you as economically moderately capitalist and socially far-leftist.
Moderate capitalists usually support free trade and low taxes, but take pragmatic stances according to what they believe will be best for business and workers.
Social far-leftists
generally go beyond simply being against government invention in social matters, and instead believe the government should actively make reperations for its past evils toward blacks and other minority groups.
Those who score in this category tend to have a strong distrust of government, especially when it comes to its treatment of what they see as disadvantaged groups.
Can I say what is in bold is the
complete
opposite of what I believe and probably many of those of libertarian persuasion who tend to score high negative social scores. I think the wording should be looked at(especially as I marked myself as being strongly against affirmative action yet was told by my results that I supported reprations
)

Although a number of moderating answers were of the "well, technically yes" type, and I laid off the "important to me" feature entirely, so this skewed results centrewards.
I didn't choose "important to me" on any of them either. Don't know whether that actually makes a difference.
I scored +0.9; -5.4 and was labelled "economically centrist and socially libertarian" or some such nonsense. Actually, I do call myself a centrist when asked, so it's good, although I do prefer the "market liberal" label I get on that other test. Actually, I like the "anarcho-syndicalist" label the most, just because it sounds so cool, but it probably doesn't fit very well.

My latest score - apparently I am becoming more right wing:
Economic score: -2.19
Social score: +4.17
Your score pegs you as economically centre-leftist and socially moderately authoritarian.
Economic centre-leftists typically support above average controls on free trade, raising or maintaining the current tax levels, but still support free trade.
Moderate social authoritarians typically support social controls meant to encourage moral behaviour and an organised society, although they may have some moderate or libertarian positions.

How do you get the scores underneath your avatar? I want to use the bottom space for other things.
Anyway, here are my scores, updated for February-March 2007:
Economic score: -7.35 -- A little to the left of my actual views, probably more of a -6, but close.
Social score: +5.57 -- Fairly close to my actual views.
