A smidge to the right on economic issues and a smidge more libertarian on social issues.

Your score pegs you as economically centre-capitalist and socially libertarian.
Centre-capitalists often support free trade and low taxes, but take pragmatic stances on economic issues, supporting what they see as the best balance between encouraging business and maintaining free trade.
Social libertarians generally believe that the government should not judge morality, and are generally against the illegalization of things that do not directly affect other people in a negative way. Many strong social libertarians may also be social progressives, favouring legislation to correct what they see as socially backwards governmental regulation, although some simply wish for the government to make little judgment on social matters.

Actually very suprised, I think it had to do with the fact I checked "this is important to me" more because I thought being against the death penalty would make me swing right social, but I guess it made me go left
That's actually a big change
Since I started this on forum way back when and my score was about +8, +8 I have changed a lot of opinions. From that point my social score has fallen six and my economic raised 2. I just hope my social score does not dip any lower. Thankfully "Strongly Agree" on opposing abortion and gay marriage with the boxes checked will do that. For the record for later:
Economic: +9.55
Social: +1.91

Quite a shift to the left, but I've been expecting it. I've become a much more morally based person recently (with my recent attraction to religion and whatnot). Also, I'm starting to value government programs more. I'm almost definitely going to register Democrat now, though I still don't think they have the answers for America's problems.

Your score pegs you as economically moderately capitalist and socially libertarian.
Moderate capitalists usually support free trade and low taxes, but take pragmatic stances according to what they believe will be best for business and workers.

Slight movement leftwards and downwards. The leftward movement is probably adding "this issue is important to me" to universal healthcare. Opposition to affirmative action is the key to my social score not being at -10.00 (that and only weak opposition to the abortion question).

Lots of slightly right-wing answers on economic questions combined with extremely strong support for public education and universal health care still gives a centrist score.
