I will not give up on my homestate and I will one day make a difference for the Commonwealth.
I know EXACTLY how you feel.

Why would the MA Dems nominate Joe Kennedy ahead of Markey, Patrick, or Frank?

because that is the 'kennedy seat'

ted kennedy retires.

who wins in a contest between joe kennedy and mitt romney?

i think it would be a close race.  remember, kennedy has a lot of skeletons in his closet and he isnt exactly a studious sort of person...to say the least.

Romney.  As long as he doesn't repeat his previous mistake in challenging a Kennedy.  If I remember the quote from the debate correctly, Romney said Teddy Kennedy and the Kennedy family have no concept of what it means to suffer loss for their country.

Romney was ahead in the polls at that point.  Teddy answered in a dignified, slightly angry way -- and said that losing three brothers in service to America gave him a faint notion of loss and sacrifice.  Romney was dumbfounded.

Still, don't look for Joe to run.  Probably, you'll see a member of the Mass House delegation run.  There are some good ones there.

Massachusetts already has a habit of electing scumbags. Look at John Kerry, Barney Frank and Jim McGovern.

Help me out, here.  Why would you call John Kerry or Barney Frank scumbags?

Peter Blute would most likely be the best for this seat. Since a halfway decent Republican canidate may be able to defeat a scumbage like Joe Kennedy even though I think Kennedy would have a hard time winning the Democratic primary since the man has so many skeltons in his closet and the fact that he has ties to the anti-American leader Hugo Chavez. Speaking of I just saw a Kennedy averstiesment supporting Chavez's oil program.

Also a question for the Democrats, Deval Patrick seems like a respectable guy do you guys think he will run or will he just concentrate on the Governorship. Also in respects to my thoughts on Barney Frank seeking this seat I just don't think he will do it since he has pretty high senority in the House.
