What would happen to the world if James G. Blaine won the US presidential election in 1884? Keep in mind that Blaine was anti-catholic and favored stuff like the proposed blaine amendment which would have forced the schooling sysem to be secular( it would have been used as an anti-catholic measure)

It would have been a great shame as then Grover Cleveland would never have been president. Plus, Blaine was the worst sort of machine politico hack.

Had he won the rate of US Imperialism would have accelerated rapidly - perhaps the Spanish-American war or something similiar happens sooner.

Going a bit OT aswell as 1884 it would be worth speculating on other 'alternative victories':
1844: Clay Wins
1856: Fremont Wins
1864: McClellan Wins
For example.

Blaine favored a policy of US cooperation with the independent nations of latin america. Note that I say independent nations and not the spanish empire so your sceniaor likely comes to pass

Secondly... sure but why not psot them in their own threads?

I'm going to disagree that Blaine was anti-Catholic.  His policy was enacted by most states, and is pretty much the norm for today.

He also very pro civil rights.

His policies were enacted as anti-catholic measures. ITs only since 1960 that they've been used for secularization.

I don't really see that, except that there were proportionally more non-Catholic religious schools since 1960.

Look at all the arguements groups like the ACLU use to justify stopping christmas celebrations in schools.

Actually that would be a good thing. Cleveland didn't have a sympathetic bone in his body.
