Saddam Hussein was never a "spokesman" for dispossesed Arabs in the was Arafat was, or Qadaffi was in the 1980s. His potential for martyrdom is overstated.

Besides, I think this is the wrong execution. The one who really should be swinging within 36 hours is Moqtada al-Sadr.
