2. Peter Roskam (R-IL)
3. David Davis (R-TN)
4. Adrian Smith (R-NE)

What possibly attracts you to these nobodies?  These are some of the most boring politicians I could imagine.  Perhaps they will vote in ways favorable to you, but surely that's about it...

At least we can all agree that Bill Sali sucks.

I would also like to note, for the record, that I am so far the only poster who has been bi-partisan in his assessments Smiley

1. Dean Heller (R-NV, Super-Freedom-Fighter)
2. Peter Roskam (R-IL)
3. David Davis (R-TN)
4. Adrian Smith (R-NE)

Dean Heller is the only freshman to join the moderate Republican Main Street Partnership.  Membership in RMSP grants the applicant automatic ultra-Freedom-fighter status and eternal life in Heaven.

David Davis is very conservative, but he's a freedom fighter because he bravely fought for open government and public accountability in the Tennessee state legislature.  I hope he will do the same in Congress.

Peter Roskam is from suburban Chicago and I guess I just hope he's as moderate as his constituents.  Adrian Smith was a placeholder as I knew I didn't like the other freshmen.  He could be switched out for Brad Ellsworth (D-IN), but there is only so much bi-partisanship you can get out of me at one time.

No. In fact, that's the reason I'm not a huge fan of him. He's not a good fit for his district. Capable individual, but not one I like.

One good thing I'll say about Heller is he beat a Club for Growth backed candidate in the primary by a hair despite them spending tons against him.

Though the CFG backing automatically qualifies Adrian Smith for my "worst" list, he may have at one time been not-so-into farm subsidies, though now that he's in congress, of course he's changed his tune.  But he may not fight as much for farm subsidies as a more effective and less ideologically extreme Republican...
