And that I am not a part of it. It is my belief that the AFIp shuld remian neutral to either coalition, or if we dojoin in a coalition is ought to be with the UAC.

As is, the coalition only has 5 members; with the UAC having 3, it seems that only Myself and Michael Z have a chance to stop this hatful and anti-productive coalition from going ahead.

I urge all current members of the coalition, especially my fellow AFIP member Harry, to withdraw from the coalition, and I urge Michael Z to remain outside it.

Perhaps, but some IP members are part of this "coalition"  Out of curiousity, how would the IP officially endorce things, anyway?  Who would have the power to do that?

We are still developing our party structure, basically ilv is temporary chairman and we have a mini leadership council of 3-4 of us. Then again, we only have about 5 members, so Cheesy

Did you expect the UAC to try and run mad with power since we have the plurality? No one tried to keep a check on the power before last presidential election.

So then, a majority has been formed.  Seven senators have formed a majority in the senate:  Harry, myself, Texasgurl, StatesRights, Boss Tweed, Nation, and John F. Kennedy.

As our first order of business, I would like to officially name StatesRights the majority leader and Harry the majority whip.  This will occur when a majority of the majority (4 members) support these two for the positions.

After this is done, I would like to work on some new senate rules.  I'm not sure if there ever were any official senate rules beyond those stipulated in the Constitution.  Regardless, I think there are some things that need to be addressed such as the amount of time allotted for voting on bills, etc.
