I believe he actually spoke introducing Paul Wellstone at a rally in St. Paul in 1996. What an opportunist hack.

Galloway was too thick to tell Coleman got the best of him.  Coleman is the finest from Minnesota in my lifetime:  someone everyone can be proud of!

Vin Weber, a former congressman from Minnesota, lambasted Democrats for what he called a "complete, total absolute sham."

"To them, Wellstone's death, apparently, was just another campaign event," he told the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.

Now that Santorum has been defeated, I would probably classify Coleman as my most hated Senator. He is an ultra-partisan, corporate, neocon piece of sh**t. And like others mentioned, he's the ultimate opportunistic hack.

He needs to be one of the top 2 or 3 Senate targets in 2008. Minnesota Democrats need to defeat this scumbag!!

Coleman isn't so bad for a Dem turned Rep, there are far worse Senators, but I wouldn't mind seeing him go.

Coleman wasn't responsible for the media going overboard on the Wellstone memorial/campaign event...the Democrats did that to themselves.  I saw the event on C-SPAN and couldn't believe what I was seeing.

Democrats seem to really hate this guy for some reason (probably because he's a former liberal Democrat turned conservative Republican who also happens to be Jewish).   

He, along with John Sununu of New Hampshire, seem to be the Democrats' two top targets next year.  Let's hope that their hatred will divide their resources, causing both of the incumbents to win.

Coleman/Sununu in 2016!

It's stuff like this that makes him so hated. He was ultra-nasty towards Democrats from 2002-2005. He only softened his tone after Republicans became extremely unpopular nationwide.
