Dumb poll, but if you want to be honest about it, Saddam got us stuck there.
- If he hadn't invaded Kuwait, there would not have been a Persian Gulf War.
- If he hadn't violated the cease fire, we would not have had 10 years of enforcing the no-fly zone and bombing missle batteries and radar stations that would errected in those areas.
- If he hadn't attempted the assasination of George HW Bush, we would not have had to send cruise missles deeper into Iraq.
- If he hadn't openly supported terrorism by compensating Palestinian suicide bombers, he wouldn't have been a target of the war on terror.
