Who are the leading candidates to be placed on the ticket for both parties?

Republicans:

State Senator Tom Kean, Jr. (R-Union)
Assemblyman Jay Webber (R-Morris)
Assemblywoman Holly Schiespi (R-Bergen)

Democrats:
Newark mayor Ras Baraka (D)
Assemblywoman Shavonda Sumter (D-Passaic)

Those are some names I can think of. The NJGOP bench is pretty big, but Christie has been the king of the NJGOP for so long.

Save Jersey, a conservative blog has some good names as Kean, Shaun Golden.

I think Sumter is the early favorite for the Dems.

Sumter is likely a favorite for the Dems. Paul Sarlo will probably also be considered.

Guadagno will probably double down with an anti-Christie Republican, probably from a swing. I would guess Chris A. Brown, Jon Bramnick or Tom Kean, Jr. Jennifer Beck would be a likely choice if she weren't locked in a very tight reelection race.

Former Assembly Speaker Sheila Y. Oliver (D-Essex) is the top choice on Phil Murphy's list to be his lieutenant governor running mate. If she picks him and Murphy-Oliver wins, she would be the first black lieutenant governor, the first black female lieutenant governor and the second lieutenant governor. She'd probably be the third lieutenant governor running mate (Weinberg, Guadagno, Silva in 2009 and 2013)

No man has been chosen as LG, however, I can see Guadagno picking a male instead of reinforcing the ticket with a fellow female.
