In the five largest counties (Douglas, Johnson, Sedgwick, Shawnee, Wyandotte)

2002: 52/48 Biggs (410332 votes)
2006: 64/36 Morrison (433676 votes)

In the rest of Kansas

2002: 53/47 Kline (410755 votes)
2006: 53/47 Morrison (406255 votes)

Johnson County

2002: 56/44 Kline (91533-72088, 163621 votes total)
2006: 65/35 Morrison (120057-65174, 185231 votes total)
