as far as maturity goes, yes.

I think Max Power is quite young though-pretty nice person, too bad he doesn't post.  SoS and ilikeverin are also rather young by comparrison to everyone else here.  Alcon's probably the youngest moderator.

Depends on your definition

If its "youngest at first post" its Tweed

If its "person who is currently the youngest poster" its me

WOW--I was thinking you were in your 50s
Ive actually been told that I act like Im 50 most of the time, so I guess its a fair comparison. Smiley

Babies!  Shocked)

I started HS in 1983.

Of course, I am still in my Sophomore year...  ::: groan :::

So...am I the oldest old pharte here?  I am 41.

I think New Federalist has that honor at 55(I think..?)  By the way where has he been?

I guess at 26, going on 27 in April, I'm upper-middle aged for here.

I am right here, Flyers/Bicardi Limon/ICE HOCKEY... but I am NOT the oldest fossil here. That honor goes to David S. He is 57 I believe and I am but a mere child of 56!

I think he is 58 now.  Looking at some of these posters really makes me feel old, I will be 25 in may, but it makes me feel a bit better when I look at you and david Smiley

Gotta tell you all, Republican or Democrat; Left of Right...

This olde pharte is really ENCOURAGED to see so many young people interested in politics, history and the USA.  I wish my nephew were like you guys.  He just lays around the house, sneers at everything and says...

"OMG, that is SOOOOO gay."

Whatever that means.

Good on each one of you for speaking up, listening, caring, learning and getting involved!!!

Man, when I first came, ILikeVerin must have been young.

I was 13 when I joined.  But, I was the first poster who actually made no secret about his age when I joined... Boss and Akno joined about the same time as me or earlier, but covered up their ages.

Tweed may have covered up his age, but I never did.

Fair 'nuff, but your first few posts weren't like "!!!! OMG!!! GUESS WHAT GUYS!!!! IM 13 LOL".

When I was in Year 8 I joined this forum. What joy that year was, except for when the Sydney Swans lost the Grand Final by 1 f**king point.

I remember Mrs. El, the best English-History teacher ever (yes, my school had common English-history classes in Middle School).

Interesting. That's the kind of thing that completely stigmatizes people among my friends at school.

Xahar is probably the smartest 13 year old I've ever "met". The contrast between him and say Evilmexicandicatator is confounding

Riyadh.

I guess they started common English-History classes after the 2003 bombings.
