MA is the most solid Dem state possibly, with DC, and it'd be weird if it went for anybody else than a Dem.

McCain decided to form the Liberal Republican Party.  Dean decides that's ok.  2 of the Independents in the Senate change to Liberal Republican Party.  15 of the House members (that are Independents) change to Liberal Republicans...

LRs-Liberal Republicans
Libs-Libertarians

Now the count is:

Senate: 65 Dems, 25 Reps, 9 Libs, 2 LRs, 1 Ind..
House: 290 Dems, 100 Reps, 20 Ind., 15 LRs, 1 Lib..

McCain decides his first order is to run a Poverty Program for the poor.  Congress passes the law and McCain sends some ppl to go to the aid of the poor.

May 2009 An Earthquake hits California bad.  Governor Schwarzanegger declares a State of Emergency.  McCain then speaks on TV that he wants to make the Kyoto Protocal better.
