Just a bit of a teaser here, but I think I might've found the results for this in my school's library. Unfortunately, they're on annoying microfiche format, and I didn't have enough time to make copies tonight.

So look forward to tommorow if I get the results and can upload them. I believe my school also has a book of county results in presidential elections before 1860.

There are also books with county results for gubernatorial elections up to 1860.

However, Dave has asked us not to use them when submitting the results.

He only wants "official" results.

Publications by election agencies are fine, but the book with all the presidential results probably wouldn't fall under that category.

I asked him about it in the "RBH's maps" thread if you're curious.
