2000 (Incomplete) Washington Precinct Map

I hope to fill in the greens and blank spots soon:

I know the most populous counties are empty, but it's a pain in the butt getting them to work. I'll have to contact their auditors.
I thought it's a nice crash course in state politics, even if Nader sent a lot of precincts Republican that reverted in 2004.

The blanks, of course, are missing whole counties, but what's the difference between grey and green?

Green = No data (oftentimes precincts with the same name, which the Federal Elections Project didn't bother to regard individually - annoying)
Grey = No votes cast
Purple = Tie

What's that very dark blue area in northern Whatcom county like?

An Other for Ohio's Self. Cacti and scorpions and the sun bearing down. Desolation. A place for people to wander alone. To reflect. Away from everything. Gentlemen, a desert.'

Dutch Reformist enclave.
The area's centre is
Lynden
, which is regularly among the most rigidly Republican cities in the state. I'd argue that it's the most straight-ticket Republican city in the state of notable size. Even McGavick broke 70% there.

Census projection format, I guess. To be honest, I know little of projections. That's how it came and loaded.
