Ok so,

I watched the most recent PMQT from a few days ago. For months Cameron has blitzed Blair with at least one question about "when are you leaving/why don't you resign" This time around everyone on the Tory bench had a huge cheese on their face ready to see the hounds unleashed.... yet Cameron never really pulled the trigger. Anyone know why?

Was it becuase Blair had just had a lengthy talk about deaths in Iraq?

If so, was this extra long blurb on the deaths and the families said at the begining to avoid that scenario?

I know they usually express regrets and such at the beggining, it just seemed to me to be extra long and for a reason this time around.

What you have to remember about PMQ's is that the basic lines of attack and so on used by the various leaders are always worked out before the circus kicks off (this is because the whole point is to score points off each other to get good media coverage; and nothing would look as bad as to be stuck with nothing to say; while most PMQ's don't feature in the 6 or 10 o clock news, that would).
