A Republican wins 75.5 percent of the vote, and still loses Blaine. To a Reform candidate!

Other low percentages for Republicans against third party candidates

2002 Senate: Pat Roberts won Wyandotte County by a 57/27 margin over a Reform Party candidate, with the Libertarian getting 16%

1998 Iowa Auditor: The Republican won Jefferson County by a 65/29 margin over the Natural Law Party's candidate.
