Tommy Thompson is one of my favorite politicians. He has the best plans for Iraq and health care in the 2008 GOP Primary. I only wish he had decided to run for president in 1996 or 2000.

Dude, I just noticed your signature.  Love it.

But I don't mind saying that I thought of it long ago.  Sort of.  Back in the 80s, when I was a teenager I used to sing quite a bit in the shower.  Mostly making up my own lyrics to already-popular melodies.  Not unlike Al Jankowicz, I suppose, but not as nerdy and I never tried to make money off them.  Anyway, one of my favorites was one I called "La Migra" which was sung to the tune of "La Bamba," an old son jarocho by Ricardo Valenzuela, or Richie Valens, as his publicist suggested he call himself.  Your signature pretty much captures the same sentiment as La Migra.  And in fact the first line of La Migra is "Gimme your tired your poor your huddled masses yearning to breathe free."  It's sung, of course with a thick mexican accent and in the same meter as "para bailar la bamba se necesita una poca de gracia."

But anyway, except for its lack of originality and the fact that it was totally plagiarized by you, it's a great signature.  I think we may have found a rare point of agreement.
