The bill still needs to stipulate either who those three people are or how those three people will be decided.

Good point. The question is, how would we decide these people?

presidential appointment with senatorial approval?

Sure, but just to keep the forum government as small as possible, I would like for the president to choose from those who already occupy an office in forum government to perform the duties established in this bill.

We do have a Supreme Court you know.

I propose to amend the bill so that the election results must be sent to the 3 Supreme Court members.

I don't think anyone really has faith in the Supreme Court to do anything useful.

How about the Majority Leader of the Senate, the Minority Leader of the Senate and a third member chosen by concurrence of the Majority and Minority Leaders?

We don't really have a minority leader of the Senate, nor do we really have a majority one.

And why the Hell not?  We put them there for a reason.  This should be their area.  It falls within thier jurisdiction as they are granted the Constitutional power to monitor elections.

So, should we just use the Supreme Court? Maybe with the Secretary of Forum Affairs also receiving the vote or something.

*bump* Could this be moved to the fantasy govt. board please?

Have we reached an agreement on the three person group. Use the Supreme Court or a selection of one from three different parties?

1. All federal weekend elections will take place over the course of 72 hours encompassing the entirety of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Forum Time.

2. If any voter will be unable to vote in a federal election during the time alotted, he or she may request to advance vote at any time between the end of the filing deadline for candidates and the beginning of the election. During this time there will be a specified, sticky thread set up for the purpose of informing forum citizens of their right to advance vote. Advanced voting will take place via e-mail. The e-mail vote must be sent to the Secretary of Forum Affairs, the Attorney General and the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

3. Provisions 1 and 2 apply to all Federal Elections taking place forthwith.

4. A registered voter may not change his or her state of residence more frequently than once in a four month period.

What does everyone think of the idea of sending the e-mails to the Secretary of Forum Affairs, Attorney General and the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court?

I believe at this current time that would mean sending the e-mail to:

Fritz, Mr. Fresh and Migrendel.

What do you think?

I will call a vote on this amendment tomorrow I think unless there is active debating going on.

Also, please can this be moved to the fantasy government board.

I support the amendment; it is a good division of the recievors; especally considering the roles their positions play in elections anyway.

Or "yea," if you prefer.

I count 5 yeas, 1 nay, and 12 days passing with no activity.

Yes that is the current status, sorry, I haven't been around the last week, been on a drama course during the week and at parties last friday and sunday so I am very sorry.

One more vote is necessary for my amendment to pass and then we will hold a vote on the fill Amended Amendment (make any sense whatsoever?)
