Giles Duceppe = massive freedom fighter

What freedom is he fighting for, the freedom for Quebec to screw itself and desperately want to reunite with Canada after the federal funding to Quebec stops?

THE FREEDOM FOR QUEBEC TO FREE ITSELF FROM THE EVIL IMPERIALIST CANADIAN EMPIRE, FASCIST.

and besides, were Celine Dion a product of my country, i'd wanna secede too

Celine Dion is FROM Quebec, dumbass.

lmao

Seriously though, Quebec is my favorite province (although admittedly, it's the only one I've been to). Quebec City is simply awesome. Montreal isn't too shabby either. It'd be a shame to see Quebec secede from the greatest country on the planet. Wink

Although most Canadians (at least 80%) I've talked to online seem to be from Victoria, BC. Must be one helluva a place.

British Columbia.  (Was Nunavut always a province, or was it added recently?)

Nunavut is not a province.  It's a territory.

And yes, it's very recently added.  It came into official being, carved out of the Northwest Territories, in 1999.

British Columbia is obviously the best as it has a good street scene and decent weather.  Quebec is second due to French Canadian girls.

British Columbia -it is the one Canadian province I want to have in the Union the most.  Aside from a direct connection between the lower 48 states and Alaska, it is also one of the wealthiest provinces in Canada, along with the booming port city of Vancouver.

Are you Americans that scared of visiting another country that you want to have random places annexed? Tongue

I don't understand this whole fixation.  If I like Washington, that doesn't imply that I want to invade it and make it part of Canada.

Ontario is the only one I visit regularly, so I guess I'll pick that.

I have friends out in B.C., but I only go there once every never.

Alberta. Not for politics, of course, but I've been there to ski many times, and I must say that the people always treat me well, and the scenery is excellent, beautiful place, and I like to go back as much as possible. British Columbia is a close second. I had the best muffin ever in Field.

That would be the Northwest Territories.

I still can't decide on a favorite province. Here are some local places in Canada that seem cool:

Newfoundland-Labrador: Happy Valley-Goose Bay
Quebec: Īles de Madeleine, Sherbrooke
Ontario: Thunder Bay
Manitoba: Thompson, Churchill (where man and polar bear coexist), Flin Flon, The Pas
Alberta: Calgary, Waterton Lakes National Park (I've seen pictures, its beautiful)
British Columbia: Kamloops, Prince George, Abbotsford
Yukon: Old Crow   (they have a neat website: http://www.oldcrow.ca/)

Can you tell that I love Canada? Smiley

If I may ask, how did you arrive at those cities?  They seem rather random. Tongue

All of Canada. Canada, Mexico and Cuba are the natural borders of America plus Canada can support ALOT more people so it makes a good place for lebensraum.

Flin Flon and The Pas are just cool names. Thunder Bay is because my friend does this impression of an American overseas pretending to be Canadian ("I'm not American, "I'm from Thunder Bay, eh." Its funny when you hear it). Churchill I know from a nature documentary.

I'm also interested in Canada because I know enough about U.S. geography to be kind of bored by it, while Canada is something new.

I've only been to Manitoba and Ontario, so I can't really say.

I think all of Canada has immense natural beauty in different ways.  In many ways, northern Minnesotans identify more closely with their neighboring Canadians than with most Americans.

I think British Columbia takes the gold simply because of the rain forests, the mountains, and Vancouver.  SW Ontario is beautiful as well.
