Tester won because of the goofy 1950s haircut. It was genius to use it in the campaign. We need more styles from black and white sitcoms to win in conservative states. I'm not kidding. I read a really pursuasive op-ed piece about Obama and thin ties. Stupid crap like that really can push close races.

Rothenberg's 2006-style blue tinted shades are clouding his thinking. I cannot envision Democrats reaching 60 seats by 2010. I think they will hit 55, though.
