GOP Race:

Guiliani:  50%
McCain:  23%
Ginigrich:  12%
Romney:  7%
Everyone else is below 5%

For the record, the last time poll that came out January 22-23 had McCain leading Guiliani by 4 points.

Democrat Race:

Clinton:  36%
Obama:  24%
Gore:  13%
Edwards:  11%

The last time Poll in January had Clinton ahead by 19.  So it looks pretty clear from this and other polls out this week that Obama has cut into Hillary's lead.

Giuliani's cabdudacy (an to a lesser extent Obama's) is a bag of gas which is just waiting to be punctured.

Look at the latest polls tracked by RCP:

link

Up until about a week and a half ago, there was only one poll ever that had Obama as high as 24%.  Now the last four polls in a row (ABC/Wash Post, Rasmussen, Time, Zogby) all have Obama at 24% or higher.

On the GOP side, up until recently, there had only been one poll ever that had Giuliani's lead over McCain as high as 16 points.  Now four of the last five polls have Giuliani ahead by at least 16 points.

Oops.  Looks like there was a mistake somewhere.  The poll writeup you link to now says that Giuliani's 50-23% lead is only in the Northeast.  Whereas nationally it's Giuliani 38%, McCain 24%.

That makes a lot more sense. If Giuliani were at 50%, I'd say he has the nomination wrapped up.

Also notable is that Edwards gains the most in a strictly three-way Dem contest. Obama and Clinton each gain 6 points (which is a bigger gain for the lower-placed Obama) while Edwards gains 11 points (doubling his total, though still in a clear third).
