Did anyone see the front page of USAToday, this morning?

It says "Bush, Dems to war over values".

It then has a picture of Bush and a picture of...

Edwards?!?!

Wait, isn't Kerry running for President?  Is it possible that the media, realizing that Kerry is a turn-off is starting to front Edwards as the face of the ticket?  Nooooooo.  Who could possibly have guess that would happen?

The media's attempts to take the focus off of Kerry are laughable and this front page story just proves it.

Nah, Edwards is just the flavor of the week and people probably figure he'll sell more newpapers at this moment in time.  I think this is especially true for USA Today, which sells a higher % of their circulation out of machines than most newpapers, so they need an especially compelling front photo.

But the photo is on the area under the fold.
