I heard that some could be out soon according to my email:

Hi there,

The 2000, 1992, 1980, and 1960 scenarios are being worked on, and will be released when they are ready. They should start being released soon, and when they happens they will be announced on the forum ( 80soft.ipbhost.com ) and your AutoUpdate will automatically ask you if you would like to update when you run the game (if you have AutoUpdate on).

Sincerely,

Anthony Burgoyne

And how do I make it so the Republicans have their delegates split between each candidate who gets more than 15% like in real life?  The Democrats do that but the Republicans do.

I just bought it, and like it...but it has serious flaws.

The results of the primaries often turn out radically different than the polls, and it seems like Romney always wins the primary. Plus the game seems to have a gigantic Republican bias.

EDIT: Scratch that. Hillary Clinton just won Utah in a scenario I played. SERIOUS flaws.

You should check out this post and the one below it.  Both are actual results from the game.  I can consistently reproduce results like those, too.

The game is very ill-equipped to handle the ridiculous surges of momentum that are the hallmark of any of my PF games.

How do I change it so the Republicans can each get some delegates?

I've played the demo and am buying the full version.  I have some quick questions, though.

How do you spin news stories in 2008?  In 2004, you just click blue arrows that appear next to a headline.  In the demo for 2008, there is no arrow.

Do Iowa and the other early primaries end up giving you any momentum?  In the demo, you end the game before New Hampshire votes, so I don't know if there is a momentum bonus like in real life.

I think that there's the same blue arrows... maybe the demo doesn't let you do that or something.

Yes, they do.  Winning a state equates to a positive news story with a power of 5.  Winning multiple states will keep giving you those.  So it has the same effect as in real life of building up a steamroller effect if you can keep it up.

Although the one thing that kind of sucks that is mostly just a limitation of the game mechanics is that if you win more than one state on a single day, it still only counts as a power 5 positive news story.  You don't get one for each state.
