The Omaha World Herald says "speculation was running high among key Nebraska Republicans" that Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-NE) "might announce something Monday."

"Among his options, Hagel could form a presidential exploratory committee, delay a decision about the race until the fall, combine the two, announce a White House bid or take a pass. He also could clarify whether he might seek re-election to the Senate in 2008."

He is going to announce it Monday morning, March 12, 2007 in Nebraska, but nobody knows what the announcement will be other than it will be his 2008 plans whether yea for President, nay for President and yea for Senate, or nay for both.
