30% approve, 69% disapprove.
Is this a record disapproval for any poll for any President?
Yes, it's Zogby.

I guess that "uptick" in Bush's approval was short-lived. Tongue

Not sure about disapproval, but Gallup's lowest presidential approval ever was Harry Truman in early 1952 with a whopping 22%. They currently have Bush at 33% approve and 63% disapprove.

You'd need to do an average of many polls since state-by-state breakdowns would ahve a huge margin of error.

Texas, Utah, Wyoming and Idaho were the only states that approved of Bush last I saw.

That CBS/NY Times poll 2 weeks ago that gave Bush a 29% Approval rating got zero press coverage, unless I missed it.

http://www.pollingreport.com/BushJob.htm

Since early February, all the polls together suggest a low-mid 30's approval rating. He's down to just the rabid right base now.

Dick Cheney's approval was 21%, in a poll that was on Chris Matthews show today.

I already said it's Zogby. It was a telephone poll, not one of their bullsh**t interactive polls.

Zogby has currently been sent to polling Hell. He cannot be redeemed unless he is escorted out of Hell by Jesus Christ himself or he actually produces some halfway decent election polls.

I remember when Zogby claimed that Bob Taft was at 6% approval rating.  As much as I could have believed it to be true, I knew that realistically it wasn't.

Umm.......Zogby was not the only poll to ever record Taft as being that low. I remember right after his conviction when a Blade poll also had him at 6%. The Zogby poll was probably done at the same time.

Indeed it was done at the same time, because it was the same poll.
