Conscription Amendment

Article VI is amended to include the following clause:
"No person shall be required to serve in defense of Atlasia involuntarily."

As we have seen in the past this will be a tough one to pass, especially as a Constitutional Amendment, but it has my support.

If it does pass, we need a bill to eliminate the selective service.

An all volunteer army is much superior to a conscripted one however some events and some wartime situations would call for the extra manpower that is given through conscription. While Atlasia may be a superpower there are still international situations that could lead to the need for a drastically increased amount of manpower in order to protect the Republic against its enemies.
