Everett would seem to have no interest in continuing her position in the Senate.

On the motion to expel Everett, I sign:
Jas

Clay is a mroe difficult call. He does intermitantly show an interest in Senate proceedings. But his last post here was on 27 February - almost three weeks ago.

Whilest I'm much more hesitant on the motion to expel Clay, I shall also sign:
Jas

Everett resigned but was re-elected in the last election. That would mean she would have to take the oath of office again and I don't believe she has done so.

Clay was voting most of the time, but has not voted lately.

I'll sign on to bring the motion to a vote, though I am not sure how I will vote just yet.

Well things have already fallen apart. We're just at the picking up the pieces stage now. Also this isn't entirely out of the ordinary. Atlasia has always had inactive Senators in its midst however no one before Porce has ever tried to get rid of them.

Can we pass a law that if a Senator fails to swear in two weeks after the start of the session then their seat is vacant or falls to the second place candidate or something. Or would this require a Constitutional Amendment?

Senator Clay has resigned from the position as such I do not see a need to vote on his expulsion from the Senate.

Right you are.  We're only voting on the motion to expel Everett now.
