I'm halfway through it. It's a good policy/political book.

I would recommend his first book Dreams from my Father ahead of The Audacity of Hope. His first book is one of my all-time favorites.

On the GOP side, for 2016, look out for Gov. Phill Kline (KS), Gov. Ralph Reed (GA), Gov. JD Hayworth (AZ), Sen. David Vitter (LA), among others.

Sounds good. I'll start with Audacity, as I'm determining whether Obama'll be my fallback candidate if Richardson falters. He needs to assuage my fears that he's the second coming of Jimmy Carter, politically. I'll probably pick the book up sometime this weekend.

I have yet to read the book. Anyone know when it will be released in paperback?

It came out in October 2006, so under normal circumstances it would come out in paperback sometime between August and December 2007.

But best-sellers take longer to come out in paperback. Da Vinci Code took 3 full years to come out in paperback (although thats a special case), there's another one called Marley and Me that was published in the Summer of 2005 but is very popular, and its still only available in hardcover. So every book has a different release pattern.

Audacity of Hope might be another special case, Obama could wait until the book's sales might help his campaign a lot, such as during the primaries next winter.

I actually do miss Howard, yeah.
That is one of the more nauseating things I have had to read today.
