It seems like Blumenthal from what I've been hearing really has his eyes set on the Governor's Mansion, Not a Senate seat in Washington. 

Naw his first choice is to be a Senator.  Always has been.  He has been pretty public about that.  We just have a problem of having those seats occupied.

Well, hopefully, he'll challenge Lieberman CFL-CT in 2010.

As for the Maryland seat, one of the reasons I am so tremendously disappointed that Donna Edwards lost her challenge to Albert Wynn in MD-04 is that I thought she'd be a fabulous statewide candidate.

Oh well.  I think Anthony Brown and Chris Van Hollen are probably the frontrunners for an open seat right now.

I think if Donna Edwards were to run against Wynn again in '08 she would win this time. He needs to go.
