Did everyone forget to read the full title? It says in MN!! I think people let their personal opinion bias their vote in this case. Also, the poll says nothing about the Independence Party.

BRTD would win the state, but States would win the ring of Suburban counties around the Twin Cities (especially Sherburne, Wright and Carver) outside of those, the only other places would be Otter Tail and that 1 really Republican county on the Canadian border (I think Roseau).

Northern Minnesota is heavily Democratic. It was one of the worst areas in '68 for George Wallace. They wouldn't like States not only due to the Confederate issue but also b/c unions are still big up there.

States would win those two southwestern counties with lots of Calvinists before Otter Tail. And Roseau, which actually DID vote for the DFL nominee for Attorney General (they liked her Scandinavian last name.)

Are they like that ridiculous Sioux County, IA? I guess one is Pipestone, not sure what the other is.

What's funny is snowguy thinks I care about race relations that much. That's actually one of the most cold button issues I have. I'm pretty friendly towards all individuals.

It did mention Minnesota, therefore strongly implying that an Independence candidate would run.

In real life that would happen, but it wasn't one of the poll choices.
