Well, I could take an hour or so and compile my extensive knowledge of FDR here... (The tour guide told me I could put her out of a job when we visited his home back in 2000) But because I like you people, I won't make you read all that at this late hour... Also, I'm a little screwed up from my Wrestlemania party.

Anywho... Lets just sum it up this way:

Love him or hate him... You can't deny he's been the bar in which all of our modern Presidents has been judged.

Socialist fool who eternally America with his economic policies and a man who sacrficed American lives to get into a war that was unnecessary to get into at that time.  A racist who locked up people because of their skin color.  Hey liberals, great man for a hero.  Especially when ur the accepting party

DWTL breaks his logical fallacy record once again! Will the boy from New Jersey ever stop?

(BTW DWTL, what's your opinion of Reagan's intervention in Granada?)

Reagan intervented in Granada in a conflict that had little impact on America and certainly didn't define his presidency.  Roosevelt's socialist policies and his racism for the defining points of his presidency.  When will the little leprechun ever stop?

I don't condone the internment either, but it was the PUBLIC who clamored for it... Rather than have groups like the KKK or any other go after them, FDR deemed it the best thing in the long run... Oh and he never had any of them executed and they were always provided for... Doesn't excuse it, but he certainly was not doing what Hitler was or what Benito was or what the Emperor was... Granada maybe didn't define Reagan, but certainly not keeping a close reign on his subordinates was, and when Reagan said he knew nothing about Iran-Contra, it's very likely he didn't because he didn't watch his underlings... Reagan also cut back on the school lunch program, because... Who the  needs to eat during an eight hour period of tedium?

"Give the kids ketchup, that counts as a vegetable" - Ronald Reagan (The Stupidest Things Ever Said).... That statement is wrong on so many levels... On a slightly unrelated note, the book also has one of my favorite dumb quotes of all time: "If English was good enough for Jesus, then it's good enough for me."...
