I, myself, was attending a course at Aberystwyth with Ceredigion Training on Information Technology and was looking forward to producing a project on the 1992 General Election (which was the first general election I stayed up for).

Well, now 15 years later and thanks to BBC Parliament, I can watch that election again as BBC Parliament begins a three month anniversary broadcast of three significant general elections:

April 9th 2007: General Election 1992 (15th anniversary)
May 7th 2007: General Election 1997 (10th anniversary)
May 28th 2007: General Election 1987 (20th anniversary)

I was 4 years old. I tried to refute Einsteins theory of relativity.

Ah, yes, perhaps the most famous pre election headline in the world. And for those who may not be aware of it, have a look at this:

Unfortunately I missed this as I was busy helping out with the local election campaign all day!

Personally it is something every Labour member should watch, as a useful reminder why New Labour had to happen and why we should never turn the clock back to the bad old days.

I was riding my BMX. I think I saw George Robertson on the streets the weekend before.
