Was this posted yet?...

New TIPP poll; July 6-10, 800RV

Bush 44%, Kerry 49%

or

Bush 43%, Kerry 47%, Nader 4%

Previous head-to-head had it tied at 44% (so it looks like Kerry merely picked up undecideds... which is mixed news... good for Kerry that he picked up so much undecided vote, but on the flip side this support is likely soft, since they were earlier undecided... so they may be merely easily swayed by the Edwards pick and will quickly fade back to "undecided").  Previous three-candidate race was Bush +3%.

This is the most consistant I have ever seen the national polls be.

Latest 2-way match-ups:

Rasmussen: Kerry +4
Time: Kerry +4
Newsweek: Kerry +6
CNN/Gallup: Kerry +4
TIPP: Kerry +5

Looks like the Edwards bounce is +/- 4-5% - a tad bigger than I expected - I was thinking 3%

Let's see if it holds or not.

TIPP is a very very solid poll.

Do either of you subscribe to pollingreport?  Anyone know what kind of state data they provide?

I do.  Basically a waste of 95 bucks.  You can get the same results within 24 hours for free.

I do.  Their state polling data isn't phenomenal... it is sometimes late in getting posted.  They also do not include robo-polls (which I, personally, do not like... yes, the robo-polls are "suspect", but I'd rather be the judge of that than PollingReport).  On the other hand, I still see many state polls show up there first (I've often been the first to post polls on this board... almost always getting it from PollingReport... even the new TIPP poll, a national poll, I was the first to post here, only because I saw it on PollingReport - though that, being a national poll, didn't require a subscription... but my point is, it was posted quickly).  They also seem to have an "inside source" or two, as, once in a blue moon, you'll see a poll out there that is never published elsewhere.  Those are valuable.  In all, if this were 2006, for example, and I was merely following some Congressional or Gubenatorial races, I wouldn't subscribe.  But in this Presidential election year, I find it well worth the price.
