[quote]
LAS VEGAS - Ever since Franklin D. Roosevelt, it has become customary to take stock of a politician's first 100 days in office. Here's what Nevada Gov. Jim Gibbons' 100 days include: Four scandals or more. One criminal investigation. One $10,000 dress. And a possible $137 million budget shortfall.
I blame one man for this mess, and that man is Lucas Longley.

Gibbons now has one of the lowest Gubernatorial approval ratings I think.

I just hope he takes a cue from Ernie Fletcher and--even if it gets worse--sticks it out and runs for reelection so he can have the glory of dragging down the gop ticket.

I just hope that he isn't pushed out of office before then, allowing the more re-electable Krolicki to take over.

More important, they knew what they were getting and still definitely did not want Titus.

the woman with the southern accent?

yeah, she seemed unprepared to be governor.  but sometimes it is better to choose incompetence over criminality.

I would cite "innocent until proven guilty," but after the Duke rape case, who cares.
