I'm going to ask members of the forum who they would have voted for in a particular presidential primary year, then who ever gets the most votes in a week is the nominee. Then next week I'll ask you who do you want the particular parties running mate to be. Then once that's finished I'll ask who do you want to win out of the Republican and Democratic candidates. Hope you will enjoy this. Rockefeller Republican! Let the primaries begin!

I've also done another with with who you would have voted for in the 1988 Democratic Primaries here's the link:

The 1988 GOP Nominee is former Governor of Delaware, Pierre 'Pete' duPont. The Vice Presidential nominees for the GOP will be released soon!

1. George Bush - The incumbant Vice President, most experienced
2. Donald Rumsfeld - What can I say, I love that guy! A true patriot, but would make a better President in the late 2000's-early 2010's than in the 1989-1993 period.
3. Bob Dole - Everyone loves Dole.

I have a Newsweek article here from 2002 where NEWSWEEK says, "Donald Rumsfeld gives us strong and sexy press conferences".

Everyone loved Rummy...until Iraq.

Well, Iraq was a pretty big screw-up. Kinda like not sending your girlfriend a card/flowers/chocolate on Valentine's Day...a real deal breaker.

Wait, scratch that, no one died from forgetting to send roses. Well, generally speaking.

The one person left in the entire world who loves Donald Rumsfeld is posting on this site. Wow.

Too bad for us Democrats that DuPont didn't do as well in the actual '88 primaries... he would have gotten crushed in the general election, even by Dukakis.
