The itsy-bitsy parties don't have primaries.

Namely because the party isn't even on the ballot in some states.

Earlier in the year, someone said the party would be making its choice "next summer" which some interpreted as summer 2007, but it more than likely means 2008.

Author & Columnist Jerome Corsi has been nominated. Barring a Republican defector, he looks likely to get the nomination, even though he is currently polling last in a list of 10 possible nominees (which mostly includes possible Republican defectors).

Is Jim Gilchrist interested?

I think barring a "big name" candidate showing an interest they would do well to nominate Chuck Baldwin. He is articulate and a good representative of the party in my humble opinion.

I hope Tancredo runs to spoil Rudy if he gets the nod.  Tancredo could probably carry a state a two on the border or the deep South.

Err... No, he couldn't. The number of people to whom xenophobia is the top priority are not more than 25% in Arizona and Texas, let alone elsewhere in the country. He might hand Arizona and Nevada to the Democrats, though, and would definitely give them New Mexico and Colorado.

Wanting tough immigration laws & cracking down on illegals willfully violating the laws of the land = xenophobia? Roll Eyes I know you're probably smarter then that but maybe I am putting to much faith into you.

Gilchrist has returned to the Republican Party.

Sounds like Corsi has the endorsement of Howard Philips.
