Lab hold Renfrewshire West. The tactical voters couldn't decide where to go. Goldie moved into second place, barely.

LDs hold Fife North East.

Watch the Borders - Lib Dems may loose both seats. It's tight.

I can be comforted by the fact that losing both seats just means two Lib Dem list seats instead of none.

LD hold Caithness.

I hope shenanigans don't cost Turner her seat.

LDs hold Ross, Skye & Inverness West. Big swing to the SNP there.

Edinburgh East: Lab hold
Edinburgh North: Lab hold
Edinburgh Pentlands: Con hold
Edinburgh South: Probable LD hold, could be Lab gain

A shame, but I'm sure he fought the good fight. Congrats to him for summoning up the testiticular fortitude for running in the first place.

Still too close to call ATM. I'm going to say Labour largest party, but that's only a guess.

What sort of coalitions could we see...any chance in hell of a red-blue coalition (based on some sort of pro-union stance?)?

Christina McKelvie looked gutted to loose Hamilton South; but she's in after the SNP scooped 5 regional seats. She was number 4 and didn't expect to get in.

SSP decimated, Solidarity almost as bad with even Sheridan loosing his seat. A bad night for the far left and a bad night for smaller parties so far.

SNP HOLD Perth and Tayside North

Mid-East and Fife regional result can now commence. Good chance for the smaller parties here; Labour may also pick up a seat on the list due to losses in the constituencies.

Theres quite a 'north-south' divide happening here...

Take a look at the map; If Aberdeen Central falls, barring two seats in Fife, Labour are 'gone' from the Campsie Fells to John O'Groats.
